Hey, I was just listening to My Melancholy Blues in Sound Forge and I had the volume at a level that was somewhat high but not loud. Just high enough so that you can hear everything clearly. Well, I noticed something in the "soon" in the "heading for that stormy weather soooooon...". It sounds as if they mixed and added on an extension to the soon in the middle of it. Listen to it very closely and you may hear the same thing too. I could tell because at a certain point in the middle it sounds slightly out of phase and a bit louder. I realize that there could be other reasons for this; that's why I'm wondering if anyone can look at this to give a second oppinion. It's no big deal that it's there; it doesn't detract anything. I just wanted to confirm this to some degree. Thanks

No, unless you mean right after the 's' sound, where it could be just the effect of the air rush on the microphone, as you do with 'p's on standard microphones. But, I disagree! He would have done a re-take and not have it edited.

I think it`s more a change of breathing method in the middle of the word.
