PD: classical guitar arrangements04 Feb 2003 11:27
There will be a new section opened here at Royal Legand inside the tab page for classical guitar and fingerstyle arrangements (mostly for solo guitar) of Queen songs. A part of the collection (eg. Dear Friends) has been available for long among the other tabs. There are some brand new ones, and also many that I completed, reshaped, rhythmized. Unfortunately there won't be sheet versions nor MIDI/MP3 demos, at least until someone volunteers to do them. A part of the arrangements are only accompaniment, others combine the accompaniment and the lead tune as well.

The opening set:

1  Nevermore
New, Accompaniment, transposed (F to E)

2  Procession
New, Drop-D tuning

3  Dear Friends
Modified, Drop-D tuning

4a  Love Of my Life (based on the studio version)
Modified, accompaniment

4b  Love Of My Life (based on the live version)
Modified, transposed (F-C > D-A)

5  You're My Best Friend
New

6  You Take My Breath Away
Accompaniment, transposed (F to E)

7  Teo Torrite
New

8  We Are The Champions

9  All Dead, All Dead
Accompaniment

10 Spread Your Wings
New

11 Who Needs You
Duet, new

12 My Melancholy Blues
Completed/Modified, transposed (F to E)

13 In Only Seven Days
Modified

14 Save Me
New

15 Is This The World We Created
80% it is the original

16 There Must Be More To Life Than This

17 Friends Will Be Friends
New

18 Who Wants To Live Forever
Sketch

Plans for later: Jealousy, White Queen, Play The Game, Somebody To Love, Lazing Sunday, Tenement Funster, Las Palabras, Killer Queen, Hard Life, Leaving Home, Doing All Right, GOF Lover Boy, Flash/Hero, No One But You, Let Me Live,
Needless to say most of these songs cry out for fingerstyle arrangement.
Plans: TABLEDIT versions. Volunteers welcomed to turn these arrangements into this usefriendly format.

New ones:
Crazy Little Thing
Bohemian Rhapsody (next updates)

These  arrangements are great.  I'm currently writing some tab to play bohemian rhapsody with guitars only.  I'll send it as soon as I'll be finishing it.

thanks, that will be published. You can post it right here. If you record it, nad upload it somewhere, put here the link as well. Try to use beat marker based rhythm notation. Without it the tab will be unable to decode exactly as you've arranged.
I once heard a version that started the verses in D major (instead of A or Bb).

I too have plans, mostly the ones listed in the opening post. "Death On Two Legs" is another one I'm going to arrange (the experimentations with this are promising).
I wish these could be turned into printed sheet/tab format one day.
