martyman: backing chorus for Somebody To Love30 Aug 2004 17:59
I've been looking (obviously with no success) for the lyric of somebody to love that
includes the complete text ofthe backing choir.
Specially the part on the second section starting:
I work hard (he works hard) everyday of my life
I work till I ache my bone (.....? a lot backing is going on here ...)
..etc

Can anyone help?

I have a large Queen book in front of me, so I'll do my best - i dont have the song though at present, so a lot of this is from memory.

Anybody_____ find me____ someboday to___ Love___?
Take a look at yourself in the mirror, and cry___ yeah yeah
Can't get no relief, Lord
Somebody....somebody
Anybody find me__

He works hard
At the end of the day
Goes down on his knees
Goes down...knees...praise the Lord
Lord
Somebody....somebody
Anybody find me___

He wants help
Every day
Try___try___try
He's got nobody left to believe in
Yeah___yeah___yeah___yeah___

Lord
Somebody...somebody
Anybody find me___

He just keeps losing and losing
He's alright, he's alright__
Yeah yeah
Free, Lord_____

Find me somebody to love__
Find me somebody to love__
(8 times in all)

Anybody find me__

Find me, somebody to___oo___ love
(i think about 5 times)

To________love_______.

That's what I can remember, I've left out the "oooooh"s because they're not exactly lyrics. If you want I can put them in but they're easy to spot. Hope it helps!

The part you specifically asked about is:

I work hard (he works hard)
Every day of my life
I work til I ache my bones

At the end (at the end of the day)
I take home (goes home)
My hard-earned pay all on my own (goes home on his own)
