Some queen related observations on Francois Couperin.

1. "Le Revéille-Matin", Rondeau
This piece opens with a chromatic figure that is a close variation of the "chromatic bVII" progression (see the "big riff" in Doing All Right). I transcribed this progresssion as I > V > v > IV. The v is the relative minor chord of bVII. The I > V > v progression also appears in "My Melancholy Blues".

2  "Le Tic-Toc-Choc ou les Maillotins", Rondeau
This one features another chromatic progression: I > V > I7 > IV
which is reminiscent of the "... World We Created"
