The chords are only guitar chords and are not harmonies for singing or whatever...

C5
A word in your ear
D5
From father to son
G Bm/F# Em (g.2 Em(VII))
Hear the word that I say
C
I fought with you
D
Fought on your side
G Bm/F# E
Long before you were born
G
Joyful the sound
C
The word goes around
Am Dmaj7
From father to son to son

And the voice is so clear
Time after time it keeps
Calling you calling you on
Don't destroy what you see
Your country to be
Just keep building on the ground
That's been won
Kings will be crowned
The word goes around
From father to son to son

Thanks Woody!

It's time for me to find 3 hours to prepare the tabs to update the archive at last. It's not that easy nowadays...
If it's necessary you can correct/edit the tab in this forum before the updates.

Great tab. The intro is often related to The Who, anybody knows any specific song that uses the same technique?
3.woody 25 Aug 2004 15:06
The bass bit has just been edited - placed the notes on wrong strings - but i think it's already in the archive anyway (The PD Bass Tab).

Glad you like it. I dont think there is a tab for this song on the internet overall anyway.
