'Rock You':

> On the other hand the song may have been influenced by army-chants or "Give Piece A Chance" (Plastic Ono Band).

What about 'All The Young Dudes' or 'Leader Of The Gang'?

-----

'Champions':

As Fred confirmed in the Anato DVD, he'd already written it at the time of 'Bo Rhap'. That's quite logical considering the timeline formed with 'Lap ... Revisited' (from 1974), and fills the "hole" left by the absence of trinary-metred compositions by Freddie in 1975. It was quite wise not to include it in Opera, since it wouldn't have fitted well imo.

> Note that Bb6/F is very different from C7sus2 or (Gm7), one of Freddie's most favorite dissonances

Any specific examples?

'My Melancholy Blues': Is there any "outsider" you can contact to clear up the 2/4 vs 4/4 debate?

'It's Late': Great article and nice references to other bands. If I may suggest something ... more notes on drumming, as always ;)
