One of the most cliched threads is about how crappy this album apparently is. What do you think about it in terms of the era, the influences synthesised there, etc.

I love this album! Especially Action This Day.

 I think this album would have been liked at the time if it wasn't Queen who wrote it and performed it. Say it had of been Culture Club or some other group it may have been liked more. However I think this album isn't Queen's best, but it isn't bad. I think Roger's drums were dead on all (apart from Under Pressure) songs, to make way for the synthesizers. Queen were very trend consicious, they didn't go with the trend at the time, and when they did (like with Hot Space) they were critisised. Favourite song on album has to be Back Chat.
